A Dynamax Debut

Pokémon GO has seen the emergence of Dynamax Pokémon! They are reportedly showing up at enigmatic new Power Spots that are being found all around the world. Join forces with your friends to take on brand-new Max Battles, capture these formidable Pokémon, and unleash the potential of recently found Max Particles.

According to sources, trainers worldwide will start to find Power Spots on the in-game map in September. It is thought that at some point, Dynamax Pokémon that can be challenged in combat will be found in these Power Spots. How to Get Mega Aggron

You cannot catch Aggron in its mega evolved form from the raid. The mega raid boss is always catchable in its base form, and as such, the CP ranges are for a regular Aggron. Aggron can be caught with the following CP values:

  • 1636 – 1714 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
  • 2045 – 2143 CP at Level 25, boosted by Snow weather boost

In order to get Mega Aggron, you will need 200 Mega Energy for the initial evolution, then 40 Mega Energy to evolve the same Aggron again in the future. If you wait for their ‘cooldown’ period to end, Mega Evolution is free. This cooldown period is shorter the higher the Mega level your Mega Pokémon is.

Mega Energy can be obtained via Mega Aggron Raids, and once you have evolved Mega Aggron, you can earn 5 Mega Energy per candy while walking it as your buddy. You can walk any Aron, Lairon, or Aggron to earn Mega Energy, as long as you have previously evolved one to register it to your Mega Pokédex.
